This agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into by and between you ("you") and EurActiv PLC, ("EurActiv") regarding your use of all aspects of EU News (the "Service").
1. By using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these terms as well as EurActiv's general Terms and Conditions (available at http://www.euractiv.com/fr/Fixed/about/terms.htm), which shall take effect immediately on your first use of the Service. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use the Service.
2. EurActiv may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by the EurActiv. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
3. The Service is designed to help you find news information. In particular, the Service provides brief descriptions of news stories to help you identify the stories of interest to you. You are permitted to print or download extracts from the Service content for your personal, non-commercial or academic use only. No part of this Service may be reproduced, republished, uploaded, transmitted, modified, distributed, displayed or performed, without the written permission of EurActiv. Requests to republish EurActiv.com material should be addressed to content@euractiv.com.
4. You agree that the content of this Service is for general information and use only. It does not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making (or refraining from making) any decision. This content is provided "as is" and "as available". EurActiv does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness or suitability of any aspect of this Service (authored by EurActiv or not). It is recommended to check any information that is the basis of any decision. In no event shall EurActiv or any of its team and partners be liable for any damage, irrespective of the form of any action, taken as a result of being connected to this Service.
5. If any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. In case of difficulty to implement or interpret this Agreement, it will be submitted to arbitration by one arbiter designated by common agreement of the parties, within one month of one party requesting it. In case the parties cannot agree on a joint arbiter, within one additional month, each one will designate one arbiter, and both arbiters will designate a third one. The parties will be bound by the findings of the arbiter(s). The language of proceedings will be English and the legal principles will be those of English law and case law. This agreement is under English law.
